Charlotte: 3 Months

Miss Charlotte turned 3 months so a few days before that special day her parents allowed me to take some pictures.

When I got to their house her mom told me to come upstairs...when you walk into a room and see this- you get your camera clickin'!
Her mom was even so brave as to take off her diaper... the sheets were a little yellow when she picked her up! ;)
After waking up from her 3 hour nap she was ready to go! (Mom said that teething is making her tired... she already has one tooth and is working on two more!)
She showed off with sitting in her boppy. Notice the diaper only...the girl gets overheated very easily. On this day they even opened the window and her skin was as warm as can be!
Check out the cuteness!
Sweet Charlotte, you are a cutie! Thanks for having fun!

A Servant Family

I was pretty excited about this photo shoot. When Danielle called me one night at home I couldn't figure out what she was calling about. Then, she told me how both of her brothers were home, she was home. This family has a way of getting around.

Mark, the oldest son, is in the military. He's a Sergeant. He has served our country oversees a couple of times. Thank you.
Jordan, the youngest had just graduated from boot camp and was getting ready to go back to serve our country. Thank you.
Danielle got back over the summer from being in Sudan for a year being a missionary. She now sports a pretty ring on an important finger! So excited for you guys, Danielle! (Way to outdate the pictures within a few weeks, girl!)
This family is a family of servants. The boys are serving our country. Danielle served children in Africa as a teacher and has been involved in our church's youth and children's ministry. (fitting that she's marrying a pastor...that lives far away...but I won't go there..she already knows that I'm happy for her, but pretty sad that she's leaving us.) Dad Kevin used to be a pastor. He serves on the boards at church, in the nursery and also volunteers at Children's Hospital holding sweet babies who need some extra loving. Mom Diane serves in our youth ministry.
Thank you for serving with such great hearts. You are a special family!

Seth

Throughout Charlotte and Seth's session we'd break out for mini sessions for each of the babies.
Seth was ALL smiles. He was a total ham for the camera and enjoyed the attention that he got from his uncle, aunt, mom and dad.

Sethy- you are such a cutie! I had fun getting to know you even more and see your sweet personality. I hope you had a wonderful first Christmas! I know you were a pretty special gift to your parents this year. :)

Charlotte

Sweet Charlotte was five weeks old on the day we did these pictures. Charlotte was so content and rolled with whatever we did.
I love her sweet lips in this picture. You just wonder what they're thinking.
Sweet little baby foot of the covered and bare variety.
This ornament is her dad's first Christmas ornament. So special.
Merry Christmas, Baby Charlotte!

Cousins

You may remember Baby Seth from a few sessions. Well, guess who now has a cousin? That's right, Charlotte was born just five weeks ago so the mommies put their heads together and decided to get pictures of the two kids together. I loved the idea! We have been trying to get a grandkid picture at my mom's for a couple of years now and we just never end up making it happen with all the different ages, schedules, oh and not to mention the fact that two live in South Carolina. So, when Hannah called to see if I would be able to do it I thought it was a perfect idea. Do it while they're young before boyfriends, schedules and toddler craziness hits!
These two were adorable together. I love how Seth is looking at his cousin...
I'm probably not supposed to put a picture of an upset baby on my site, but it made me laugh he finally realized that they put the reindeer antlers on him- suddenly life was not okay.
Sweet little Charlotte did great while we worked with sitting Seth down...just chillin in the manger. Seth- you're going to be a heartbreaker- you've already got the lean down.
Merry First Christmas to Seth and Charlotte! What a fun gift you will be to your family this year!

The C Family

Remember how the weather was really nice for a few days in December. Then, one fateful day it turned... C-O-L-D!!! I remember it well, as will the members of this family! We met up and hurried to begin the session. The boys were all excellent! They would wear their coat (if they have one :) and take it off, smile, then put their coat back on. Brave people, I tell ya!

Jennifer was wanting a grandkid picture for her mom, but one of the littles was sick and didn't get to come. She decided to go through and we grabbed some other pictures of their family.
Did I mention there was a sweet 11 day old baby who was wrapped in lots of blankets? He mostly stayed in the car and just came out for a couple of the pictures. :)
It was fun getting to know your family. Hope you guys warmed up at your lunch! :)

Jaxson and Greyson

Jaxson and Greyson are adorable brothers! When I first met their family Jaxson had a big smile on his face. They are such a great, relaxed family.
Check out how little bro is looking at his big brother! I think I heard a couple of sighs at the cuteness...oh wait! One of those was me! :)
You could during the entire shoot that they both dig each other. Check out the cuddles in this picture. Greyson didn't even mind! He just sat. I kept waiting for him to crawl off, but he just sat. Completely content.

Thanks for coming and allowing me to take your pictures. You're such a great family and your boys are adorable!
